Retreat
New Students Retreat - Through the Office of the Student Services and in coordination with the Chaplain, new students attend a 1-day retreat for an avenue to further prepare for the task that lies ahead. Times of singing, inter-action, much prayer and reflection are designed for students to ponder on their expectations from others, from God and what can be expected of them. Through the Retreat, new students are able to develop an awareness of God’s work in their lives and in others.
Graduating Students Retreat – Annually, the AGS community holds the Graduating Students Retreat. After years of study and burning the midnight oil, the graduating students are provided the avenue to prepare themselves on what ahead of them after AGS. During the 3-day retreat, moments of personal introspection, ruminating on God’s Word and relaxation are designed and integrated to further prepare the students into the daunting task ahead. The Graduating Students Retreat happens during the 2nd semester.
