Open Stack System Users may freely go to the shelves and select the books to borrow. All materials must be properly checked-out from the loan desk.

 

Books on Reserve The listed titles in the course syllabus are reserved for students enrolled in the course
Regulation: Two reserved books can be borrowed at a time for two hours. Reserved books can also be borrowed overnight and over the week-end. Borrowed books overnight must be returned the following day. Borrowed books over the week-end must be returned the following Monday. A fine of P10 per hour for late returns.

 

Circulation, Filipiniana, Pamphlets, and Christian Education Resources
Regulation: Books from the circulation section can be checked out for two weeks, 7 books at a time. A fine of P10/day for late returns.

 

Reference Books and Journals
Regulation: Reference books/journals are for reading-room use only. They can be checked out for photocopy purposes for two hours only; 2 books at a time. A fine of P10/hour for late returns.

 

Inter-library Loan
All libraries of the Asia Graduate School of Theology (AGST) consortium have an inter-library loan system whereby books/materials are made available in the reserved section of each library.

 

User’s Guide and Directory
To retrieve materials, an electronic catalog called ONLINE PUBLIC ACCESS (OPAC) is used to search the library collections. The library will soon use DESTINY LIBRARY MANAGER, a web-based program designed for Internet access.
